What should my child wear to class?
**Dance shoes are always optional for summer camps and small children new to dance.**
Creative, Combo and Tap classes:
Ballet and Tap shoes can be purchased at Payless, Once Upon a Child or Opening Night dance stores.
- Pink ballet shoes (leather and canvas). Black Ballet Shoes for boys. No silk ballet slippers please.
- Black patent mary jane tap shoes. Tap Ties can be helpful for young dancers.
- Hair secured off of face.
- Any style leotard (tights can only be worn with dance shoes) or soft shorts and top.
Ballet Classes
These classes have a specific uniform that must be worn to each class. Motionwear Leotards and pink tights can be purchased at the front desk or on the websites below.
**No halter tops or skirts.
- Ballet Level 1: Cotton "Butter" Leotard from Motionwear-Website
- Ballet Level 2: Pink Cotton Leotard from Motionwear-Website
- Ballet Level 3: Cotton "Periwinkle" Leotard from Motionwear-Website
- Ballet 4 & Up: Black Cotton Leotard (no halter tops or skirts)-Website
- Light Pink Footed tights must be worn to each class.-Website
- Pink leather or canvas ballet shoes-Website.
- Hair must be in a secured bun.
Jazz:
- Jazz shoes are optional for these classes.
- Hair secured off of face
- Any style leotard (tights can only be worn with dance shoes) or soft shorts and top.
Hip Hop:
- Soft shorts, baggy sweats, tank tops, t-shirts, basically anything loose and comfortable to dance in.
- Any style tennis shoes/sneakers with socks
- Hair secured off of face
